Improved quality of life through speech and language therapy support

I qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist in the UK in 2010 (City University, London) and worked in a number of different settings within the NHS in London, from acute wards and stroke unit (Newham University Hospital), to inpatient neurological rehabilitation (Homerton University Hospital) and as part of a community rehabilitation team (Mile End Hospital).  

Working with a multicultural and multilingual population in London has taught me to work flexibly and adapt quickly to different people's needs. I take a holistic and functional approach to therapy and make sure goals are relevant and motivating to each individual.

Therapy

I provide assessment, therapy and advice for communication and swallowing difficulties.

My areas of treatment include the following:

  • Difficulties relating to neurological conditions such as stroke, TBI, Parkinson’s Disease, MS, MND

    • Aphasia

    • Dysarthria (I am LSVT certified)

    • Apraxia

    • Cognitive Communication Difficulties

    • Dysphagia

  • Stuttering

  • Voice problems

  • Speech sound disorders (from age 5+)

  • Myofunctional disorders (from age 12+)

  • Facial paralysis

Costs

I have a contract with the main Austrian health insurance providers ÖGK, BVAEB, SVS, KFA. This means you do not have to pay me directly if you are insured via them. In order to be eligible for treatment, you require a referral for speech therapy from a doctor (GP, ENT, paediatrician, neurologist, orthodontist)

If you are insured via a different provider, therapy needs to be paid in full by you initially. I will then provide you with a receipt, which you can send to your health insurance for reimbursement.

45 Min (T2) € 72,00

60 Min (T3) € 95,00

Homevisit (T5) € 30,00
